July 31, 2009: Emerald Coast Swimming Swims Big at SES
Championship!! 23 Individual Team
Records and 7 Team Relay records are broken!!!
ECS swimmers met the challenge at the 2009 SES LC championship
in Nashville. Kalanne Krause (1), Emma Strom (4), Emma Rudman (1),
Olivia Strom (1), Sam Laughlin (1), CJ Mathews (1), Will Arthur
(6), Aden Mackenzie(3), Nick Miller (1), and Alex Strom (4) all
broke individual records.
The 11 –12 girls and boys, and the senior girls and boys
relays broke team relay records. Alex Strom swam his Junior
National cut in the 1500 meter freestyle and is only a gnats hair
away from his US Open and Olympic Trials cut. The team took 16th
place out of the 70 + teams that are in Southeastern Swimming.
