Swimming Booster Club Inc.
The Emerald Coast Swimming Booster Club is a parent
organization that supports the team. We are all volunteers and the
booster club is a Florida registered non-profit organization. Our
two main fundraisers are the two swim meets we host each year, one
the last weekend in January (The Rick Byers Memorial) and the other
the first weekend in June (The Sand Dollar Invitational). The
Booster Club meets monthly at the YMCA. If your child swims on the
team, you are a member of the booster club. The funds that the
Booster Club raises pays for some of the equipment that is needed
by the team. Past purchases have been the six lane score board, the
event/ heat score line, the System 5 timing system, touch pads,
starting blocks, software to organize the statistics for the team,
pace clocks, and other swimming gear.
